BICYCLE RACKS AND BICYCLES
United Campervans provides modern bicycles and bicycle racks for hire with your motorhome or camper van. The racks can be fitted to any vehicle model and are available in conjunction with hires from United's depots in Auckland or Christchurch, including one way hires.
- All bicycles are general purpose models suitable for both road use and moderate off-road conditions.
- Suitable models are available for children.
- Child seats are available and can be fitted on request.
- United 6 and 4 berth motor homes can carry a maximum of three bicycles.
- United 2 + 1 Premier Motorhome, United 2 motorhome and United 3 and 2 Hi Top camper vans can carry a maximum of two bicycles.
- A helmet (which is compulsory in New Zealand), cycle lock and repair kit are all supplied with each bicycle.
- All bicycles are insured by United Vehicle Rentals with a bond/ excess of NZ$100.00 applicable to cover loss or damage.
- Costs for normal on-road maintenance will be at United Vehicle Rentals' expense. However, any repairs required due to the fault of the hirer, up to the value of NZ$100.00, will be met by the hirer.
- Bicycle hire should be completed at the same time as the vehicle hire in order to avoid disappointment.
